Which opcom

Im wantin to get opcom and was wonderin if there a particular opcom or trader on ebay to buy from or are they pretty much all the same! If someone with abit of knowledge on this maybe point me in direction of good seller or a good unit would b great help if not jus a bit of advice would be great [emoji106]

Vectra C - Any decent interior modifications, preferably OEM?

Hi Folks,

I'm not big into major modifications on cars but do like looking through the genuine accessories brochures!

I've a Vectra C, 2004 2.2 SRI and was wondering if anyone has any decent modifications for the interior, anything from lights to cup holders!

I must admit I prefer OEM stuff, I just bought a sunglesses holder to replace the blank plate behind the roof light, that's the sort of stuff I'm talking about, the sort of stuff you can get as upgrades or as add ons, but again I'm...

p0340 sensor

hi there i got hold of a vectra 1.8 estate R reg car is running ok but recently engine management light came on it comes on and goes off randomly i plugged my scanner in and it came up with a p0340 (8) camshaft sensor incorrect signal present and intermittent the engine is x18xe the car had 1 owner and has plenty of new parts under the bonnet any ideas cheers

Hello guys im trying to get my average mpg up on my 1.9 cdti sri as its floating around 35 at the minute as i have a heavy foot sometimes.. i was jus wondering is there many other additives apart from redex that i can use to help clear engine out?

Hi guys. Still having problems with my 2006 vectra. Having jump started it a month or so ago and blowing my satnav and computer screen I'm still disconnecting the battery every time it's parked up. My neighbour stuck a clamp meter on the battery leads yesterday and it's draining 1.8 amps just standing. If I was to pull every fuse one by one with the meter on would this tell me where the drain is. My garage had the car for 4 hour only telling me the volts went from 12.7 to 12.8 while he had it...

Evening all,

I've been after a Vec C estate for a while now to use as both a van (completely gutting and re-doing a house at the moment) and my daily driver. Narrowed down to a V6 CDTi auto in elite spec, unfortunately they're pretty rare and those that do come up seem to be overpriced (£5k) on autotrader etc. I don't mind paying a premium if it's a very nicely kept car but the couple I've been to see have been a bit worn and had silly little things wrong with them.

Fuel filter housing change on cdti 150

Has anyone had experience with removing fuel filter housing and fitting new 1? My wee plastic bits were broke off by previous owner mechanic so since then i can't get the top of it off! So i am in the process of purchasing a new filter housing with said plastic bits on it and was jus wondering if its jus a click old one off and click new 1 on job and turn ignition until pump sound for few secs then start car? Jus wondering if this is the corrert way or not ir if anyone can help would b great...

Vectra C rear camber adjustment

Hi forum. I've got the common fault of uneven tyre wear on the rear of my '06 1.9cdti SRI hatch. You know the one makes the tyres like a 50p piece and sounds like a wheel bearing's gone? When you look at the car from the back the rear wheels are massively sloping inwards at the top. I know the camber can be adjusted on the back but can I do it myself or do you need gauges? I want to get it done before I have new tyres fitted.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Vectra c boot lid hitting off body help!!

Hi guys new to the forum have a 04 vectra hatchback and only yesterday the bot lid seems to have shifted and is banging off the passenger side quarter panel Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view. :( the shut line seems to be off too it's tight on the passenger side and wide on the drivers side. Also on the drivers side it seems to be sitting higher! Has anyone come across this problem before?

I have a 1.9 cdi vectra 07 plate, it has developed a rattle which sounds as if it is coming from the rear driver side, it is only when going over uneven roads, the sound is almost like a plastic against plastic noise. The car is driving fine with no problems under braking or steering issues. I have had the drop links changed and checked for the usual suspects such as springs, exhaust brackets, shock absorbers, all to no avail. Reset service indicator on Vectra C,Astra H,Corsa C & D

Not sure if anyone knows but you can reset your service inspection lamp on your Vectra C, Astra H and Corsa C & D with out the aid of any diagnostic tools.
Simply press the trip reset button on the dash at the same time press the brake pedal then switch on the ignition, keep brake and trip pressed for 10 to 12 seconds and hey presto its done!! If you already knew that i will go back and crawl into my shell:bananasmi

Wonder if someone could help me please.
I have a 54 plate Vectra 1.9Cdti (155,000 miles on the clock) and just recently have experienced problems with the car "feeling" as though it "pulls" back and then continues as normal at low revs (like a miss fire or something without the bang)
This happens only briefly and for a second or so, runs OK and then does it again.

When driven hard or at higher speed the car seems fine.

rad fan

would a cool running stat (82 degrees) affect the rad fan cutting in? I'm sure it won't but my fan doesn't come on anymore even when it reads 105 on the gauge. Swith is a new one, twin speed 95-90 and105-100. Resistor is new also. Both speeds work by bridging connection in the plug?? X20xev engine

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea with my Insignia braking problem that started around two weeks ago..

I first started to get some problems with my cruise control not working and then working again on the same journey - I first put this down to an electrical problems - but I think its now related to my brakes issue as I think the system detects that my brakes are on...

Anyway - about two days later I set off from work and the car just didn't feel it had the same power and was...

Hi guys,

I have a strange problem with my Vectra 1.9CDTI, 04 plate,171,000 miles and chipped to about 180BHP,

The temp gauge only works when the car is stood still i.e. in a jam otherwise always shows nothing it has been like this since I bought it thee years ago, on the 230mile drive to work on Monday there was no heat at all from the heater. I've checked the fuse and felt the pipes into/out of the heater matrix they are both hot to the touch the fan works in all positions so all I can think...

Hi I am looking for a bit of help trying to source the problem with my Vectra

The fault first start a couple of weeks ago when i began to hear a ticking from the engine bay when I revved the car up and in the last couple of days the car have developed a fault whereby it sounds like the timing is out.

Last night be have reset the timing replaced the water pump, new belt and bottom crank pulley as they are common to wear.

Fired the car up last night and is still very lumpy and un driveable....

Morning all. I changed me oil & filter few months ago ........fully synth long life stuff making sure I didn't over fill it. The oil change on this usually is 5 & a half litres, but I find 5 litres is near enough to bring it just below the max dipstick mark.

Last month or so I've had the feeling that the mpg is down a bit......but not drastically so. I only use the car 3-4 times a week. The level on the dipstick seems to be more than I put in at oil change, so it got me thinking about...

Car missing at end of journey

I don't drive very much. Recently, the has started doing the following; It drives very well. after driving sometime, and I start to slow down. The engine starts missing. I got home ok. However, I go for another drive. Car works Ok. Then, out of the blue, the same thing happens! 3 times this has happened. Yesterday though, It was bad. struggled to get home. I had a new Coil strip fitted about, 10 months ago.
Suggestions please!

Hi all, can anyone tell me how to go about changing the wiring loom and ECU on my P reg Vectra. If I go to a Breakers what will I need to get and how to go about removing them. Would be very grateful for as much info as possible. I really need to get it back on the road as it is my only means of transport.
