Need help identifying a leak.

Alright guys, first port here.

I've had my 2009 Insignia 1.8 SRI for about a year now.

It has a couple of issues but I've just noticed it's leaking.

the leak is dripping from the middle of the hole I have marked with the red arrow in the very poor pic below.

it is further back from the engine bay, almost directly below the gear stick. there were no issues driving.
Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Canbus Flashing Simultaneously With Lights O

Hey,

Im hoping that you guys can help. My friend gave me some new canbus bulbs because i tried LEDs and they flashed simultaneously. after fitting them and turning the lights off i notice that they flash. Although i dont have the bulb out warning now like i did with the LEDs the flashing still continues. What do i do now?

Ive asked a few guys i know at work and theyve suggested checking fuses (even though if the fuses were gone then theoretically the lights wouldnt work at all) and that...

Vectra steering rack

hi all, I am on my 3rd brand new steering rack in my Vectra 1.9cdti 07 plate in the past 12 months the garage charged me £400 including labour, every rack they put on the seals have been going causing a loss of fluid and stiffness, my current 3rd rack now feels worse than the 2nd new rack this rack currently on is not leaking less that a week old and pretty stiff and very notchey in places if I turn the wheel left its not to bad and if I turn right it is notchey and sometimes is slow on going...

Hello guys im trying to get my average mpg up on my 1.9 cdti sri as its floating around 35 at the minute as i have a heavy foot sometimes.. i was jus wondering is there many other additives apart from redex that i can use to help clear engine out?

Stall Then a bad burning smell

Hi, im new to this forum thing. Im sorry if i post in the wrong section.

My problem is i was driving my Insignia looking for a car park. I found one and was waiting in the queue. I stalled the car when moving forward. I was waiting a while in the queue. After the stall a really bad burning smell started to come through the car. I parked up but on returning 4 hours later the smell was really bad inside the car. No leaks were visible underneath or in the Engine Bay. No warning lights were...

Not sure if this has been asked before so please forgive me for asking again...

I'm thinking of purchasing a diagnostic scanning tool for my Vectra 1.9cdti 120bhp 54 plate.
I've seen hand held ones on ebay but unsure which would be compatible with my car...

Any advice please.

As per title. (not being lazy car is at home.. i'm out in the Ambulance!!)

Vectra c Estate screen wiper size.?

halfords own brand say 24 inch & 18 inch
Bosch say 24 inch & 16 inch

[both in Halfords books! Staff baffled @&£!]

Is it 18 or 16 for passenger side? - or Either fits?

Can another remote fob from another vehicle be reprogrammed to work with my vectra B? W reg?

Swirl flaps test

I have read alot on these forums about sticking swirl flaps and how to check them so i was jus wondering..

How far shud the bar at the top of swirl flaps move?
Mine moves as if they are openin but its not alot of movement is this normal or not?

And also is there an option on op-com to test swirl flaps?

hi guys first time on a site so ill do me best lol. well ill start with what iv done to me car and go from there and i hope to god some one can help me because im getting nowhere fast. i have a vectra 08 plate cdti auto 150 brake when i first got it it pulled like a train was fine then i noticed a few months in that the car would over rev over 2,000 to 3,000 revs sometimes on its own but the car was very sluggish got to the point where it would virtually stop so ended up changing the gear box...

air con compressor leaking

Hi all - I have a `55' reg facelift Signum with the Z22YH 2.2 litre petrol engine. The a/c compressor is starting to drip the odd spot of refrigerant/oil from the non drive end of the unit. a/c is still working (for now !)

Vauxhall dealer reckons the part number for a recon compressor is 93197128 and that will be £434 + vat :(

There seem to be other non Vauxhall equivalents around ranging from £200-£300.

Has anyone had recent experience in this area and can recommend a decent aftermarket...

Hi, i have a vauxhall vectra 1.9tdci and have a problem which im hoping you guys could help me with....
I have had the car a couple of months now ( 56 plate) and has been smoking pretty badly since i have had it, i am wondering what it could be.... It did smoke after about 5-10 mins of driving, and was struggling to start up, so recently i have replaced the glow plugs and diesel filter, but ever since i have changed them, seems to struggle even more now to start, and smoking while im starting...

New Insignia with Navi 900

Got my new Insignia today I have been waiting since October for it to be built.

After playing with it all night I realized that not all functions on the intellilink Navi 900 are there.

Does anyone know when the APPS function is going to be available for Intellilink please ??
