Eibach springs

OK, so I'm going to spend a bit of money and sort the suspension on the Signum.
going for Bilstein B4's, and Eibach springs.
found 3 separate part numbers for the Eibach that list the 1.9CDTi Signum as a variant, but all 3 have different axle weights listed.
now I know where the weights can be found, but Eibach don't list the specific weight for my car, what do I go for??

Vauxhall Insignia 2011 MAF/DPF Limp mode

Hi, 2011 Vauxhall Insignia 57,000 miles on the clock, about a week ago the engine management light came on, it has power for the first 2 minutes of driving then looses all power, the car struggles to build it's speed up. I took it to the garage as soon as it did this and they had a look on there computer and diagnosed it as the 'Mass flow sensor' they cleared the fault and about 15 minutes later it came on again. I have not got this changed yet but tomorrow I will be getting a genuine MAF...

Need help identifying a leak.

Alright guys, first port here.

I've had my 2009 Insignia 1.8 SRI for about a year now.

It has a couple of issues but I've just noticed it's leaking.

the leak is dripping from the middle of the hole I have marked with the red arrow in the very poor pic below.

it is further back from the engine bay, almost directly below the gear stick. there were no issues driving.
Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Can anyone tell me what would be leaking that comes out by the front passengers side wheel arch at front?? The picture is where water is coming from but don't know if its above there or that actual piece

Misfire/Chugging between 1500 & 2000 rpm

Hi All,

Here we go again, another problem :mad:

All of sudden my Vectra 1.9 cdti seems to be misfiring/chugging between 1500 & 2000 rpm but not getting any warning lights, any ideas what it could be?

Coolant loss

hi guys bought a 2009 insignia (120,00 miles with FSH), after around 3 months a code came up on dash turns out my coolant was low, topped it up no problem but 6 weeks later i decided to check again and its low again, i found it uses around half to 1 litre per month but with no leak i can find. got it pressure tested to around 1 bar by a friend but lost vert little pressure or a negligible amount. It has me baffled . Worst fear is obvious head gasket , would this show up on pressure test of...

so does any one know if a m32 gearbox in a cdti 1.9 sri 2007 is the same as a m32 in a standard Vectra or does any one hav a half decent m32 box for sale to fit a 1.9 sri cdti cheers all

Heres something I wrote earlier

This guide is relating to “Spill pipes” or Leak off pipes” which when defective cause poor or no starting on Vauxhall DTI engines. This is a very common fault and should be one of the first areas to look at when the DTI refuses to start. It is also the cheapest place to start as new leak off pipe costs around £2.99 from most motor factors
The EGR valve is located in the same area and I recommend having a look at the same...

IAC control valve

Hi, I wonder if anyone on here can help?
I have a Vectra B SRi120 Hatch, running an X18XE1 engine. I had a recent air leak meaning the IAC valve adjusted itself to suit...but now I've sorted the airleak/hoses/gaskets etc I need to find someone who can access the ECU and wipe out the adaptive value for the Idle Air Control valve. (I also have a 'copy' of the genuine Vauxhall technicians workshop manual which states this value MUST be wiped following the corrective works)

I've got a vectra c 57 plate 1.8 petrol, I'm getting the safeguard message, I've scanned it and got a permanent fault code- b2955 anti theft warning system sensor datalink no communication. Checked the alarm fuses in the load area and all ok, anyone ever come across this?

Jerkey and Smokey Vectra C D estate

Hi all,

My 2007 Vectra C Diesel estate auto (150 BHP) recently started being very jerkey and smokey!

When idle the revs drop then pick up quickly.

I cleaned the EGR valve about a year ago and i think i need to clean it again.

Maybe the throttle body? Anyone know how to take it off and clean it or any other solutions?

Vectra steering rack

hi all, I am on my 3rd brand new steering rack in my Vectra 1.9cdti 07 plate in the past 12 months the garage charged me £400 including labour, every rack they put on the seals have been going causing a loss of fluid and stiffness, my current 3rd rack now feels worse than the 2nd new rack this rack currently on is not leaking less that a week old and pretty stiff and very notchey in places if I turn the wheel left its not to bad and if I turn right it is notchey and sometimes is slow on going...

3.2 vec c in need of a new front manifold bought the Irwin stud extractors as the nuts have dissolved with rust, they wont even grip ,my next port of call is going to be a dremmel with an aluminium oxide grinding wheel im going to cut the bastid off, only way I can see it coming off

also bought 14 studs 14 nuts and 2 gaskets 46 quid robbing basts,plus the 100 quid for the 2 low mileage manifolds, turning into a money pit,it will run and drive but 8 mpg is a tad too much to bear

Despite the rough looks she seams to be a good un, she went for her MOT yesterday and only failed on N/S drop link boot rubber split no advisory's, Was told by the MOT Tester that it has had (or looks to have had) new disks all round and pads, And a complete new exhaust system from manifold back. Hi everyone newbie here i decided to join as google was coming up with some answers related to my question but some didn't help me so i need to pick some of your guys(girls) heads. I bought my 2003 Vectra C 1.8 Sxi of my father in law at a good price it has only done 73000 when i got it, well serviced as it was me who did it all am a little mechanical minded but not that much hence why am a tyre fitter. The problem is The Car spanner light has come on and sometimes when its a cold start the car...

Speed Sensor range/performance malfunctions

Hi all,
I have just been out to the car with OPCOM and she has given me the following codes,

P0500 Vehicle speed sensor malfunction
P0501 Vehicle speed signal range/performance

also...
P1613 Immobiliser No or wrong signal &
P1814 Invalid signal from Electronic Climate Control

Does anyone have any experience with these codes or any advice to kindly offer me.
In regards to the heating... when I bought the car it had no heating at all, I replaced the resistor and I now have heat but it is not...

Silly fog light question...

Just had the air con condensor replaced on my 57 plate Vectra and before the chap left I checked that the front fogs were working ok as they come off with the bumper.

When I pressed the front fogs button they came on fine, but so did the main headlights? Is this right? I could have sworn the fogs came on seperately?

Door Control Unit

Hi, Does anyone know where the door control unit is located on a Signum (assume the Vectra C is the same). Drivers door central locking, electric mirror and electric window will not function, switch pack will still operate the passenger and rear windows and passenger door mirror. Have checked fuses etc but all okay. Crappy Haynes manual for Vectra C refers to the door control unit in the electrical diagrams but nowhere else in the whole book that I can see. Thanks in advance, Tony.
